Almazara Cruz de Estebán sells its extra virgin olive oil directly under the registered trade name of Olivo Real, adapting it to any presentation and packaging requirements that their clients may have. It has the only olive-oil mill in the area that can crush organic olives with a quality mark.
They only use recycled materials for the containers and packaging. They crush the olives naturally by means of cold extraction and centrifuging the olive paste. Hygiene and cleanliness are strict at all times – from the arrival of the olives to the storage of oils in stainless steel tanks to preserve the flavour, aroma and colour.Accredited laboratories analyse and taste the oils to guarantee their quality.
Their extra virgin olive oil is made from the Picual variety, the most common in the province of Jaén. The resulting oil has a high oleic acid content, antioxidants and vitamin E. It is a stable, fruity oil with a slightly bitter and spicy flavour. Oil with a character of its own, and one of the three most typical products in the Mediterranean diet.
