Conde de Argillo
Conde de Argillo is the oil produced on the Arroyovil Estate, which is located in the province of Jaén in the district of Mancha Real, in the foothills of the Sierra Mágina mountains. Its springs are the source of the water used to irrigate 8,000 age-old olive trees which produce extra virgin olive oil from the Picual variety of olive, which contains the highest oleic acid content (80%), as well as being rich in polyphenols and phenolic acids which give it high antioxidant capacity, so the oil preserves all its properties for over 18 months.
On the Arrollovil Estate you can enjoy a country house, La Cateta, from which you'll be able to participate in the olive picking process (November and December) and sample their own extra virgin olive oil “Conde de Argillo”, some bottles of which are presented as a gift to guests.
It is part of the Jaén Olive Oil Tour project which aims to promote Olive Oil Tourism and the olive culture.
