Located in one of the most popular routes in the historic centre of Malaga, parallel to Calle Larios, Mesón Las Cepa is a a culinary landmark in Malaga. This legendary establishment, run by Antonio Agüera Miranda, is a symbol for any connoisseur of good food visiting the city.

Mesón La Cepa is an ideal place for tapas, to enjoy a good conversation with friends or to try the local wines or wines from other parts of the country. Excellent and generous dishes prepared with top quality ingredients.

The menu includes top-quality and fresh fish, seafood and red meat. The appealing and delicious tapa recipes include baby board beans and ham, “porra antequerana” (chilled soup) and a choice of Iberian cured meats and cheese. However, they specialise in freshly cooked tapas and cod: with tomato, "a la vizcaína" (served with ham peppers and chilies), "al ajo arriero" (with creamed potato and garlic), in omelettes, croquettes, scrambled eggs or with Piquillo peppers. As for meat, some of the highlights in the menu are suckling lamb shoulder, red meats (order by weight), home-made sirloin steak and oxtail.

Its dining rooms are air-conditioned and very cosy. La Cepa has a traditional restaurant style where good food and the guest's enjoyment are what is most important.
