El Merendero de Antonio Martín
Located in Malaga, El Merendero de Antonio Martín revisits the history of Antonio Martín, an emblematic place in the hotel tradition of Malaga. Found on the promenade of La Malagueta, a few metres from the beach, this open-air restaurant is an excellent place where you can enjoy the traditional cuisine of Andalusia. The restaurant is divided into three areas: a terrace with sea views, a cosy lounge and an informal area where you can enjoy some tapas mean this restaurant can cater to the likes of anyone.
A varied menu including traditional Andalusian dishes, as well as classic dishes of Spanish cuisine. Recommended dishes include rice, such as seafood paella or the creamy vegetable rice, all freshly cooked and served for each diner.
Fresh shellfish and Malaga fried fish are two of the main attractions on the menu. Fish and meat dishes complete the menu. Another highlight is the salt-baked, Rota-style or butterfly-grilled wild fish.
The grilled meats include beef sirloin or ox entrecôte. Braised oxtail with vegetables and potatoes deserves a special mention. It has two private rooms with sea views, ideal for any type event, such as family or corporate events.
