El Balneario
El Balneario de los Baños del Carmen is located in the city of Malaga, at the Baños del Carmen.
El Balneario de los Baños del Carmen opened its doors on 16 July 1918. It was an innovative project for the time as, unlike other baths, it was in open sea and it enjoyed sun exposure, following the fashion of other cities like Santander and San Sebastian.
At the modern-day El Balneario its menu has been created by the prestigious Malaga restaurateur, Adolfo, seeking perfect balance between tradition and modernity in the kitchen. Its menu offers a wide variety of traditional, local dishes using modern touches and techniques. It also serves an extensive range of grilled fish and rice dishes and, of course, wonderful "espetos" (sardine skewers).
