Antigua Casa de Guardia, in Alameda Principal, is the bar with the longest tradition and history in Malaga, where you can enjoy the best craft wines from their cellar and the delicious seafood.

It was established by José de Guardia in 1840, in the heart of Malaga, and is the oldest wine cellar open today. With its a classic atmosphere it is a favourite of the locals. It has become a tradition here to enjoy a glass of good Muscatel or Pedro Ximenez standing at the bar, or local wine like Malaga Dulce, Pajarete, or dry wine from Montes de Málaga, together with tasty tapas or plates of prawns, "cañaíllas" (sea snails), clams, mussels, etc.

Monday to Thursday: 10am to 10pm. Friday and Saturday: 10am to 10:45pm. Sundays: 10am to 3pm.
