Museo del Patrimonio Municipal
The Municipal Heritage Museum was designed to address three objectives: to promote the value of the Municipal Historic-Artistic Heritage, to bring it closer to the people and to act as a platform for promoting and supporting local art, especially contemporary artists.
The Municipal Heritage, the basis of the museum's assets, comprises over 4,000 pieces under the categories of natural areas, buildings, sculpture, paintings, graphic works, documents of great historic value and a voluminous library.
94 works have been chosen for the museum's permanent exhibition, following the criteria of quality representation. The organisation, which is structured in chronological routes, consists of themed units that use the works to explain the relationship between the Town Hall with the city.
