Bienal de Flamenco de Málaga

Provincial Government of Malaga organises the Málaga Flamenco Art Biennial for both local residents and visitors for the purpose of promoting Flamenco art through an extraordinary cultural event to reactivate tourism linked to this musical genre.

The Biennial includes events in numerous municipalities throughout the province but the main venue is the Bullring in Málaga.

During the course of the event there will be numerous concerts and recitals with performances by artists of the highest calibre and representing al the artistic disciplines.

At the same time, they organise almost a hundred parallel activities including shows, master classes, exhibitions, conferences, award ceremonies, the publication of a book and a flash mob.

The Biennial is now a benchmark, comparable with the Seville Flamenco Biennial, as a result of the repercussion that this important flamenco event has both in terms of Tourism and Culture, and its significant economic impact throughout the province of Málaga. The extensive programme satisfies public demand for Flamenco and arouses the interest of the millions of tourists who visit the province.
