Tour por la Málaga Picassiana

Do you really know Picasso? 

It is a well-known fact that he is the most important and influential artist of the 20th century; however, there are many who still do not know his true artistic and personal side, beyond very general ideas and some misconceptions. In order to learn more about the artist and the man, we will cover both perspectives, thus rediscovering both Picasso and Pablo. 

Our meeting point will be Plaza de la Merced, next to the great Obelisk in the centre. You will meet the guide and the tour will start by introducing the topic. We will then visit the Birthplace Museum and discover more about the artist's personal life and how it is linked to his oeuvre. 

After that we will begin a short walk through the historic centre, visiting a couple of places that were important to the artist. On our walk through the old town we will come across the Picasso Museum Malaga, where we will stop on a tour to discover Picasso the artist. 

We will see the main periods of the genius, such as the cubist legacy, his approach to surrealism and the return to classic Mediterranean themes. We will discover interesting paintings such as "The Three Graces", "Woman with Raised Arms" and "Musketeer with Sword", and many others.

After visiting the museum, we will resume our tour through the historic centre, ending in Plaza de la Constitución.
