Sociedad Económica de Amigos del País

The "Sociedad Económica de Amigos del País" (Economic Society of Friends of the Country) is located in a building constructed in 1785. It was first occupied by the "Consulado del Mar" (Marine Consulate) and later a Jesuit School was established in part of the premises.

The building is a typical example of 18th century domestic architecture, with continuous balconies on the upper floors with regular niches and a central courtyard surrounded by projecting galleries.
