Museo Carmen Thyssen Málaga
The Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza collection is located in the Palacio de Villalón, a 16th century palace on Calle Compañia of Malaga, in the heart of the historic centre. The museum's permanent collection will comprise around 230 works of art which will brilliantly and coherently cover 19th century Spanish art, paying special attention to Andalusian painting.
The Carmen Thyssen Museum has a total area of 7,147m2 of which 5,185m2 are for exhibition use.
The collection will include artists from Malaga such as Gómez Gil, Moreno Carbonero and Barrón, alongside painters such as Zurbarán, Sorolla, Zuloaga and Romero de Torres.
Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am. to 8 pm. Free Sundays from 5 pm. Closed: Monday.
