The Pearl of Sepharad

A pleasant experience for the family, with your partner or friends, where you can travel back in time to the Pearl of Sepharad, the name given to Lucena by the Jews, called Eliossana.

Our guide will meet you at the start and will take you for a Sephardic sweetmeat tasting (optional). Next, we will go on a tour and discover elements of the cultural heritage of Lucena: Castillo del Moral castle, Barrio de Santiago, Church of San Mateo, Condes de Santa Ana Palace and Jewish Necropolis. They will remind us of the Sephardic past of the bride of Israel, as Eliossana were called.

Its importance led it to be known as “the city of the poets” because it was home to the most important Talmudic Academy of Spain.

Price

Price per person from groups of 5 people or more. Minimum group price: €35 if the minimum number of people in the group is not reached. Groups over 20 people: €6,00 per person. Extra €2 per person with tasting included.
