Pilar Nuevo y Ermita de San Isidro Labrador
Less than one kilometre from the town centre of Lopera, you'll find Pilar Nuevo, a drinking trough and fountain dating back to 1875. It has a spacious wooded area and plenty of space for parking vehicles.
The area is presided over by a chapel dedicated to the patron saint of farm workers, San Isidro Labrador, in contemporary style. A procession takes place on May 15, when we will find the participants dressed in Flamenco costumes, with traditional drink stands and a decorated cart competition.
Visits must be arranged beforehand by telephone or by e-mail.
