Casa del Pueblo o Centro Obrero

Located in Lopera, the "Casa del Pueblo" or Workers Centre is a social building which gained prominence at the beginning of the 20th century and was always an institution and an exceptional social centre for the workers.

It was installed in an old convent and undertook important educational and cultural work. It was founded in August 1919 and almost completely destroyed during the Civil War.

All that remains of this building is the façade which dates from the 18th century.
