Linares - El Pósito
The Linares Tourist Office is located in El Pósito, an old 18th century building used for storing grain which has recently been restored. It also houses the Interpretation Centre of the City of Linares, a Documentation and Tourist Resources Centre, a temporary exhibition and congress hall, a souvenir shop, and on the upper floor, the Official Museum of Raphael, the universally renowned singer from Linares. Next to this building you'll find the Municipal Auditorium which has a very interesting cultural programme.
In the Tourist Office visitors will find 3 audio guides of routes for exploring the historical, cultural and scenic heritage of the city and its natural and mining area on foot:
- The Mining Route.
- The Cástulo Archaeological Site.
- The City.
Winter: Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 2pm and 5pm to 7pm. Summer (June to September, both inclusive): Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 2pm and 6pm to 8pm.
