Líjar Watchtower
Líjar Watchtower is the main tower in the town of Líjar, Almería. Quadrangular in shape, it is built out of local yellow slate from the valley. It stands 7 metres tall and has a surface area of 36 square metres.
The west corner of Líjar Watchtower includes an 11-metre tall cylindrical tower that stands out from the rest of the fortress and is accessible up to the battlements.
Líjar Watchtower is located opposite the church tower.
