IE-010 Las Cabezas de San Juan.
The IE-010 links the town of Las Cabezas de San Juan with the Complejo Endorreico Lebrija-Las Cabezas nature reserve, a beautiful area with different species of native birds such as the red-knobbed coot or white-headed duck.
It lies in the Lower Guadalquivir region, a landscape dominated by farmland, marshes, and vineyards. Since antiquity, the territory has been an area that numerous cultures have passed through and settled in. The region is also known for being one of the main areas where the Spanish horse is reared, this animal being historically linked to agricultural work and the celebrations and traditions of the region. Its stud farms have great prestige internationally.

Leaving Las Cabezas de San Juan in a north-easterly direction on the Camino de las Cabezas de San Juan de Coronil. We soon pass the Villa Rural Gamo-El Serrano on our left and, shortly after, cross the Salinillas stream with the following being consistent features during the entire route: countryside paths and livestock trails, between cultivated fields, livestock farms, and traditional cortijos farmhouses.
We continue on the trail until we reach an intersection where we take the marked trail to the southeast and, a few kilometres after, follow the instructions of the sign telling us to turn toward the West toward the Camino de la Vega. During the first stretch of this path, you can take an alternative route for 2.8 km leading to Hacienda San Rafael.

From here, we ride southwards until Cortijo Los Naranjos de San Juan. We pass alongside it and reach our final destination on this route: The Laguna del Bujadillo or the Charroao, a paradise for birds.
