Taberna El Velero
Taberna El Velero is a typical seafood tavern with a menu where the cuisine of the region of La Puebla del Río prevails, a quintessential balcony overlooking the river which breathes the air of the Doñana.
The specialities of the Taberna El Velero feature rice dishes, with Guadalquivir marsh duck, lobster, prawns, etc., and a wide range of home-made desserts to finish.
The tavern has a spacious, air-conditioned 200m2 lounge and a 300m2 terrace equipped with water spray microclimate. There is also a car park and disabled access. There are facilities for all kinds of banquets and celebrations.
The menu includes fried shrimps with roast peppers, delicious home-made aubergine croquettes, cod, casseroles, garlic mushrooms, “dreams of El Velero” (a typical local dish), white prawns and a wide variety of fried fish dishes. Apart from classical pork, beef and lamb dishes, there is also venison casserole with pine nut and raisin sauce and Iberian pork cheeks Rivera del Duero style.
