Casa Rural Casa del Río

On the corner of Plaza de España square in La Nava, keeping time by the clock on the tower, stands La Casa del Río. It is a two-storey house that can accommodate four people, at the heart of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche natural park.

The ground floor has a lounge with fireplace, television and fully equipped kitchen. On the top floor, there are two double rooms: one with a bed measuring 150x200 and another with two 105x200 beds. It also has a separate bathroom, with a 120x70 shower area. The rooms have individual built-in wardrobes.

Using the techniques of our ancestors, the house has been refurbished using the walls of stone and rammed earth and preserving the appearance of the dwelling without altering its presence in the square. The result is an exceptional house with a surface area of over 200 square metres and a courtyard with covered porch, an arbour with a covered barbecue, a Zen garden, benches, a well and a hundred-year-old olive tree.
