Located in La Algaba, the La Algaba Mudejar Sky Interpretation Centre (CICMA due to its initials in Spanish) is in a 15th-century Mudejar monument categorised as a Place of Cultural Interest called the Los Guzmanes Tower. This is the building that contains the CICMA, which aims to be a novel, educational, pleasant and cultural place.

Of a markedly defensive nature, Juan de Guzmán had the Los Guzmanes Tower built in 1400 during the fratricidal war in the Kingdom of Seville, between the Houses of Medina Sidonia and Arcos. It is Mudejar in style and was completed in 1446. The Los Guzmanes Tower is a strong and powerful, crenellated bastion that is 27 metres high, was built mainly in brick and has 4 vaulted floors.

Over its four floors and using explanatory panels, historical recreation props and audiovisual productions, the history of La Algaba in the district of La Vega, social aspects of the Middle Ages, and the roles that the tower has performed over time are reflected.

The CICMA organises tours in different formats and for different groups. They are always guided tours for groups of 20 people per session. There is an educational-cultural programme for educational centres and associations which provide the tour to the CICMA, plus a journey around other local monuments and places of interest, such as some local bakeries to allow you discover how one of the main gastronomic products from La Algaba, "pan prieto"–the local bread, is made.
