Juan Carlos Romero Monís was born in Huelva en 1964 When he was a boy he was interested in the guitar and his family encouraged him to learn with Manolo Sanlúcar, with whom he has played many times
His stood out as a composer and his work was requested by artists such as Enrique Morente, El Pele, Rocío Jurado, the group Alameda or Carmen Linares He played guitar in "A oscuras" together with José Antonio Rodríguez in which Enrique Morente and Esperanza Fernández sang
