Tendido 6
Tendido 6 restaurant opened in 1960, and is today a reference of Andalusian cuisine. It's no coincidence that it was awarded the First Prize in the Andalusian Regional Cuisine Contest or the First Prize by Jerez Tourism for its excellent professional career.
Tendido 6 is a meeting point for the famous from the world of bullfighting and other spheres, especially during the Jerez de la Frontera fair. Proof of this are the photos of famous clients that hang from its walls, such as President Sarkozy with his wife Carla Bruni.
The splendid tiled wood bar is noteworthy, where you can have tapas and enjoy the rich Jerez wines. The menu at Tendido 6 is quite complete, as starters offering shellfish from the bay, meats, old Manchego cheese and the house speciality, Señor Vizconde.
The menu includes main courses like in-season vegetables, picadillo or shellfish soups and the grandmother's stew. These are followed by fried fish from the bay, hake, sole, lagoon gilt-head bream, and sea-bream Rota-style, one of the house's specialities. Worth highlighting from its meat dishes are grilled fillets with pepper or roquefort sauce, grilled lamb cutlets and another of the specialities: bull’s tail.
Wide variety of desserts.
