Las Cuadras
In Jerez, Las Cuadras is located in the former stables of the Countess of Casares' Palace, in the spectacular Plaza de la Asunción square. The New Prison was located here from 1679 to 1836. The house was rebuilt in 1839.
During the refurbishment of the place, attempts were made to keep everything as it was — even with its uneven floor! All of the decor is authentic, from the 18th-century bullfighting posters to the bars from the “new prison” (16th century), and all of the artefacts on the wall.
Las Cuadras is an essential place for savouring the most delicious tapas in the heart of Jerez.
Thursdays: noon to 4 pm and 8 pm to midnight. Friday-Sunday: noon to midnight.
