Alcántara Ecuestre

Alcántara Equestrian Centre is dedicated entirely to the agricultural world. Located just a few kilometres from Jerez, it is surrounded by typical Cadiz countryside, with fields of cereals and beet.

The activities on offer at Alcántara Equestrian Centre include horse-riding, where you can enjoy a day exploring the Jerez countryside. One of the most interesting options is to visit the Salto al Cielo estate, which encompasses crop fields and woodlands of pine, wild olives and cork, giving rise to varied Mediterranean landscapes.

At certain times of the year, the horse riding includes a Jerez country-style snack with local wines, Iberian pork products, etc. After this stop, we start the last part of the route that runs to the picturesque bullring on the estate, dating back to the 18th century and great historic-cultural value.

Alcántara Equestrian Centre offers horse rides, horse riding routes and riding lessons, all held in high regard by their guests. Other activities include training and dressage, horse riding among livestock, riding at the Fair in Jerez and visits for teachers and schools.
