Jerez Zoo & Botanical Gardens
The Jerez Zoo & Botanical Gardens are located in the town of Jerez de la Frontera, in Cadiz. It is one of the oldest in Spain. Its history began in the early 1950s.
The Jerez Zoo & Botanical Gardens currently have the most important zoological collection in Andalusia, with more than 1,000 animals of nearly 200 different species from five continents. As far as the botanical collection is concerned, it currently has almost 1,000 trees, and more than 400 different plants are cultivated.
The most recent award received by the Jerez Zoo & Botanical Gardens is the 'Andalucía' Environmental Award in the Nature Conservation category, for activities related to nature conservation, environmental education and research.
Adult Tickets: 9.30 € Children Tickets (2-13 years) and Retired People Tickets (over 65 years): 6.20 €
October to April from 10 am. to 6 pm. May to September from 10 am. to 7 pm. Mondays, closed (except bank holidays, summer, christmas and holy week)
