Bodegas Real Tesoro y Valdespino

Bodegas Marqués del Real Tesoro y Valdespino winery in Jerez de la Frontera along with Bodegas “La Guita” manzanilla sherry winery in Sanlúcar de Barrameda form part of Grupo Estévez which as a long history of producing Jerez wines and brandies, as well as top quality spirits and vinegars.

With 800 hectares of its own vineyards, part of which lies in the well-known and prestigious Macharnudo production area, it is the third largest wine producer in Jerez and one of the most important producers of brandy. It has modern facilities for producing and ageing Marco de Jerez wines and sherry. It has two bottling lines able to fill 24,000 bottles/hour, a winemaking centre with capacity for 5,000,000 litres of grape, a controlled Fermentation plant for 5,000,000 litres of must, fully automatic with 59 tanks and, finally, laboratories where they undertake R+D+I projects and the most exhaustive quality controls that make it an indisputable leader in the Jerez wine and sherry industry.

They show the close link that exists between vineyards and winery, reaching its maximum expression in Valdespino that produces Fino Inocente, the only Jerez (sherry) wine originating from a single vine, in Pago de Macharnudo or Tío Diego "amontillado". The character of La Guita manzanilla sherry is marked by the particular soil of Pago de Miraflores, where most of the grapes used in its production come from.

You'll be shown everything from the bottling process through to the winemaking centre, as well as its impressive rooms, the printing museum, the stud farm, the carriage museum and the art gallery.
