Bodegas Faustino González

Located in the province of Cadiz in the town of Jerez de la Frontera, the small beautiful family-run wine cellar of Bodegas Faustino González is in the historic and Flamenco Neighbourhood of San Miguel, right in the heart of the city.

In Bodegas Faustino González the wines are created traditionally and bottled without filtering, so they conserve all the aroma, flavour and colour proper to ageing under a film of yeast.

In this wine cellar all work is done in the traditional way and the ageing casks are given the care that they deserve. The musts ferment naturally in vats of American oak located in the cellar, in the centre of Jerez, at its highest point where it receives the sea breezes from the west.

The aim of Bodegas Faustino González is to show visitors the world of creating Sherry Wines and the unique, complex system of ageing by blending vintages. For tastings, each participant receives a sheet the details of the tasting and some notes on the wines. They serve a selection of their best wines during the tasting.
