Bodega Maestro Sierra
Bodega Maestro Sierra winery is located in Jerez de la Frontera, Cadiz province.
Still maintaining its traditional artisan nature, Bodega Maestro Sierra winery has been run by the same family for 180 years, ageing, bottling and marketing wines with the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry Designation of Origin. In fact, it is still located in the popular winery area – of typical Jerez construction – where it first opened in the historic city centre almost two centuries ago.
Following the traditional "soleras and criaderas" system, the wines come from Palomino grapes, for producing Sherry, Oloroso, Amontillado and Palo Cortado; and Pedro Ximénez grapes, for producing their namesake wine or, in coupage, Cream and the original, unique Amoroso (Medium) de El Maestro Sierra.
