La Casería de Piedra
Located on the outskirts of Jaén, La Casería de Piedra is in one of the most beautiful places in the city known as Vadillos, in the foothills of the Jabalcuz. It occupies a magnificent Andalusian farmhouse that is more than one hundred years old, set in natural surroundings amongst pine forests and olive groves.
La Casería de Piedra serves authentic Jaén cuisine: "pipirrana" (tomato, pepper and cucumber salad), kid, lamb, rabbit with garlic, "migas cortijeras" (refried breadcrumbs with garlic and bacon), "andrajos" (rabbit and tomato casserole) and home-made desserts, all accompanied by wines from the region.
Sharing the facilities of the country house, La Casería de Piedra provides excellent panoramic views, a long wine list and free, supervised parking.
Daily: 1 pm to 3.30 pm and 8.30 pm to 11 pm.
