One of the priorities of the area of tourism and local sustainable development of the Tourism provincial board of Jaen is to promote the province of Jaén as an inland tourist destination, as well as the creation of a different competitive tourist offer.

The promotion of the province in the national and international market, with actions and acts before public and private institutions, has made of the Jaen Paraíso Interior´ brand (Jaen, an inland paradise) an inland tourist reference within the tourist market.

The publication of promotional materials is in line with the above, the themed collection of guides and catalogues for wholesalers being good examples.

Another activity is the planning and later follow-up of programs and studies that have an effect in the socio-economic development of the province of Jaen.

The coordination and technical support to municipal actions regarding promotion and socio-economic development is also an objective.

In addition to the above, there is the design and development of tourist products such as: Vía Verde del Aceite (Olive oil green way), la Ruta de los Castillos y las Batallas (castles and battles route), Ruta del Olivo (olive oil route) and Viaje al Tiempo de los Íberos (the Iberians trip to the time).
