Yuma's Restaurant
Yuma's Restaurant is in Jaén, founded in 1979. Run by father, mother and children, it has two well defined spaces: the tapas bar, an elegant meeting place; and the dining room, a classical and reserved atmosphere.
The house menu is lively and varied. It uses seasonal and daily market produce. The food is prepared with honesty, true to the principles of traditional cuisine, where olive oil exhibits all of its importance and where the final cooking depends on the particularities of each food. The seasonings, garnishes and final touches show how this restaurant is in tune with modern tastes. They have scrambled eggs with avocado, wild asparagus with truffles and ham, hake cheeks stewed with a spinach broth and suckling pig glazed in three varieties of local oil.
Yuma's restaurant combines tradition and modernity with delicacy: the virtue of traditional cuisine but for our times, served by a family from Jaén.
