Museo Internacional de Arte Naif Manuel Moral
Opened on 20 December 1990, the Manuel Moral International Museum of Naïf Art in Jaen is a legacy of naïf artist Manuel Moral Mozas, a native of Torredelcampo (Jaen) who bequeathed to the Provincial Government of Jaen part of his work, paintings and wood carvings, as well as his own collection comprising works by different artists of this artistic style.
The Provincial Government, as a result of this legacy, took the initiative to create a museum dedicated to this artistic style. To that end, it called on artists and collectors of naïf art and, having received a favourable response from both Spanish and international artists, in 1988 decided to open an Exhibition at the Provincial Exhibition Rooms in the Regional Government Building. The authors who took part in the exhibition donated their works to help set up the museum.
The Manuel Moral International Museum of Naïf Art is housed in the Villardompardo Palace Cultural Centre and Arabic Baths.
