Fuente de los Caños
Situated in the square of the same time, this fountain was fed by water from the Magdalena torrent.
It consists of a large basin-trough, the front of which is decorated with square pilasters. The wall is framed by two Terminus gods or boundary stones whose heads are crowned by capitals in the shape of baskets of flowers, with Ionic volutes, adorned with a frieze of rosettes. The lower section has three urns featuring haut-reliefs of naked children pouring from amphoras. The water falls from spouts emerging from the mouths of these amphoras.
