Parque Municipal Adolfo Suárez

The Adolfo Suárez Municipal Park is a spacious 19,000 m2 garden right in the centre of Huércal-Overa, Almeria, next to the Cura Valera y Albujaira High Schools.

It has leisure facilities to suit every taste, from areas with swings and a padded floor where children can play safely, to areas of “biohealth” relaxation where the local people exercise and keep themselves fit. There are also picnic areas with benches and wooden tables where you can spend a relaxing day of leisure.

The Music Pavilion is another of the park's facilities which is used very often, especially in the summer for concerts.

The Huércal-Overa Municipal Park is a meeting point for leisure and relaxation, and for discovering the plant species. A place to stroll, to sit peacefully and read for a while surrounded by the vegetation, where you can enjoy your leisure and sports activities in pleasant surroundings. In short, it is a familiar place where you can enjoy nature in spite of being conditioned by the characteristics of the urban layout, of which it forms a part and creates the landscape.
