Platalea

Platalea aims to be a company of reference in the environmental education and interpretation of heritage sector, and to be known for what it does and, especially, how it does it. Platalea services are characterised by being different, with a participative, dynamic methodology, performed with enthusiasm and professionalism.

What Platalea offers is summarised in the following activities: a guide service, using innovative methodology based on the interpretation of heritage and using poetry and other resources; workshops on environmental education and social activities; birdwatching services, both in Spanish and in other languages; a nature and environment shop; Platalea mobile digital planetarium.

Amongst the new projects at Platalea are the tour of the archaeological site of the Islamic city of Saltes and the inside of the Monumento a la Fe Descubridora (Monument to the Discoverer Faith). Meanwhile, in Ayamonte, they manage the Molino de El Pintado Ecomuseum, the only tide mill that can be visited in the province of Huelva, where, in addition to discovering how these inventions work, you can take part in a bread-making workshop.
