Festivities of la Cinta

These festivities in honour of the Virgin de la Cinta, the patron saint of Huelva, were declared of Andalusian Tourist Interest due to the colour and liveliness of the celebrations.

This event takes place in parallel with the famous festivities of the patron saint of San Sebastián, also dedicated to the city of Huelva.

Every 8 September marks the celebration of the festivity of the "Little Virgin" when the Virgin is carried in a solemn procession through the main streets of the town.

The La Orden Fair Ground is the hub of the celebrations together with Plaza de la Merced square. Both these venues offer a range of attractions and marquees as well as traditional stands and arts and crafts stalls.
