The Parish Church of San Sebastián is home to an image of the patron saint of the city of Huelva. It is in Modernist style and was projected in 1959 by the architect Ricardo Anadón Frutos. It was the result of a need to provide San Sebastián with a place worthy of worship, after the demolition of the original chapel. The image was moved to a makeshift chapel in the cemetery, before finally being able to take its place in the present church.
The interior features large stained glass windows and a chapel for the relic with an altarpiece by Germán Franco. It is the starting point for the procession of two brotherhoods: the Hermandad de los Mutilados and the Hermandad de los Estudiantes.
It was blessed by the first bishop of Huelva, Pedro Cantero Cuadrado.
