The Church of San Pedro is the oldest in the city of Huelva. Built in the Gothic-Mudejar style, it dates from the 15th-16th centuries. The floor plan and elevation are typical of a Seville Mudejar church: it has three naves, separated by series of arches and a polygonal apse.

The building was refurbished slightly in the 17th century, but even further in the 18th century, after the devastating effects of an earthquake in 1755.
