Los Centenales

Located in Hinojos, the Los Centenales Visitors Centre is the main door giving you entry to the natural space of Doñana next to the municipality of Almonte. Located in a unique building, with a modern design and integrated within its surroundings, it offers you the chance to observe the landscapes through its large windows.

Inside, the exhibition has a number of explanatory panels accompanied by reproductions and various models, an audiovisual walkway and a recreation of nocturnal sounds Through the use of these tools, the Centre shows the customs and uses that the municipality has made of the main ecosystems of the National Park: marshes and pine forests.

Los Centenales has an artificial lake with natural vegetation, which surrounds part of the building and was repopulated with autochthonous fish. Nearby, are reproductions of typical huts of the marsh, where the cyperus is fundamental as a main raw material. It has a wonderful urban park, with many walks, pleasant shady areas and children's play areas.
