Bodega Museo Destilerías Martes Santo
Founded in 1870, the Destilerías Martes Santo winery museum won the gold medal at the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929 in Sevilla.
It makes its products using distillation in copper stills heated by burning oak wood, and maceration of fresh fruit from the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche natural park.
Crossing the town of Higuera de la Sierra, we have the option of visiting the distillery museum, which occupies a building designed by the renowned architect Aníbal González. You can also sample its products free of charge.
