Hotel Cortijo Torre de la Reina
The place today known as Torre de la Reina was once the rearguard settlement of one of the camps of King Ferdinand III "The Saint" during the conquest of Seville; at the end of the 13th century and beginning of the 14th it was property of Reina Doña María de Molina, who gave her name to this building forever.
The fortress is extremely interesting because, besides being a royal possession, it is also the only rural building from this period in the area around Sevilla that survives to this day. It now has the National Monument designation.
It has 12 rooms, car park, swimming pool, restaurant, function rooms for meetings and banquets with capacity for 700 people, 12,000 m2 of gardens, etc.
