Quesos de Leyva
Quesos de Leyva is a sustainable artisan cheese factory in Guadix. They started making cheese in 1996, specifically four types: tender, semi-cured, cured and aged, and curd cheese. It is all made from sheep's milk. The animals are fed with local products, from this land at the foot of the north face of Sierra Nevada mountains.
A visit to Quesos de Leyva includes a tour of the facilities and to know about the production process, and a cheese tasting session.
