Staying at the Abuelo Hammam José Caves is like going back to the way of life of our ancestors, from troglodyte times through to the present day, but with all the modern creature comforts.

The caves are houses dug out of the hillside, which is usually clay. They are, however, equipped with all the creature comforts you would expect in any home. The earth itself makes excellent insulation, meaning that the temperature inside is stable all year round, a pleasant ± 18ºC, meaning they are warm in winter and cool in summer.

The complex has 5 caves with two bedrooms and 4 caves with one bedroom, all with full kitchen, full bathroom, fireplace with plenty of wood and heating. The facilities also include a large swimming pool and Moorish Baths where guests can relax in contrast baths, in the tearoom or having a massage.
