Sazón started out with the purpose of offering homemade food, made with care, to tourists looking to enjoy an authentic experience that connects them to the people and the place where they visit.
We aim to teach people about our culture with no filters and as best we can. Our mission is for people to learn all about our Spanish gastronomic legacy, with the help of those who are our best ambassadors: our grandmothers, our mothers, and women in general who love cooking. We like how we are and we like our cuisine just as it is, and that is how we would like you to see it.
This experience involves women opening their doors to invite diners in to enjoy the very best they have to offer. This is what makes Sazón great, it provides incomparable experiences because you not only get to taste the most traditional dishes, for just a few hours you get to live like a local resident. Stewed ribs, lentils, potato omelette, "remojón granaino" (a Moorish salda), sweet oatmeal porridge, custard cream, "piononos" (traditional sponge cakes), etc. Are just some of the dishes that can be tasted at Nieves', María's or Loli's house. Women who may well not be professional chefs, but who have the art of cooking in their blood. Sazón, we would like you to really feel it.
