Granada gears up for a musical September with 1001 Músicas at the Alhambra
From 2 to 23 September the magical setting of the Generalife Theatre at the Alhambra in Granada plays host to the third edition of 1001 Músicas festival, bringing world-famous artists to the city of .
Sponsored by CaixaBank and promoted by the Regional Government of Andalusia and Granada City Council, the festival lineup includes performances by Elvis Costello, Ara Malikian, Luz Casal, Andrés Calamaro, 091, Pablo López, Suede and Raphael.
Their concerts will fill the Generalife Gardens with music and complete the extensive cultural programme at the Nasrid monument after the summer.
1001 Músicas has become one of the most popular events of the international music scene and turned Granada into an epicentre for some of the biggest names, drawing vast audiences from more than thirty countries worldwide.
