Contradanza Granada

Contradanza Granada is a space dedicated to dance in general, but especially to flamenco, tango, salsa and swing, offering courses all year round. With regular classes from September to July and summer courses in July and August. Both for students who wish to dance purely for pleasure and those who seek comprehensive training in order to start a professional career. At Contradanza there's a place for you all!

Located in Granada, Contradanza Granada has the finest teachers and offers an incredible variety of timetables for many disciplines.

Flamenco School: throughout the year, the finest professionals visit the classrooms, sharing their knowledge and art with the students as they wish to be a point of reference in the teaching of quality Flamenco. Students are frequently visited by such professional artists as Fuensanta La “Moneta”, José Suárez “Torombo”, Paloma Fantova, Miguel Cañas, Nino and Isaac de los Reyes, etc. The regular teaching staff includes professionals such as José Cortés “El Indio” and Coral Fernández for dance, Chema del Estad for percussion, José Cortés “El Pirata” for guitar and Sergio Gómez “El Coloraito” for vocals.

This is the only Tango School in a city boasting the oldest Tango Festival in the world. The Swing School is the most fun part of the school, with Lindy hop, West Coast Swing and tap dancing.

The Salsa School has become a benchmark due to the quality and dedication of the teachers and the impeccable style of the students.
