Casa del Castril is a beautiful Granada Renaissance palace built in 1539. Although the work was attributed to Diego de Siloé, recent studies consider it more likely to be the work of Sebastián de Alcántara. It has an original Plateresque doorway.
It is now home to the Granada Archaeological Museum, with a collection that goes from the Palaeolithic to the Nasrid period.
