Hotel Carmen de la Alcubilla del Caracol
Carmen de la Alcubilla del Caracol is located on one of the slopes leading up to the Alhambra, with views towards Granada’s plain and the Sierra Nevada Mountains, set on the upper limit of what was the medieval Jewish quarter of Granada, now the Realejo neighbourhood.
A "Carmen" is a traditional Granada construction of Moorish origins; it comprises a house with terraced garden/vegetable garden that adapts to the area’s hilly terrain. "Alcubillas" are systems for distributing irrigation water from the neighbourhood’s main water channels: the Acequia Real de la Alhambra and Sultán.
Carmen de la Alcubilla del Carfacol has 7 rooms set over three floors and one tower. They all have heating/air conditioning, telephone, broadband Internet access, safe and private terrace or access to the garden, as well as exceptional views.
