Casa Rural La Jarilla
Built in 2007, the La Jarilla Country House is located ten minutes from the village of Posadilla (Fuente Obejuna), in the province of Cordoba and on the border with Extremadura.
It is a 700 m² building on one floor, similarly to Andalusian farmhouses: the entrance hall leads to an interior arcaded patio that is arranged around a fountain. The patio gives access to the different rooms: a hunting pavilion, entrance to the house, bedrooms and access for disabled persons and a kitchen area and lounge.
The La Jarilla Country House consists of seven bedrooms, two with twin beds, three with a double bed and one with 1.50m double bed, a cot and an extra folding bed. One of the rooms is a suite and has an en suite bathroom with a hydromassage bathtub. All the bedrooms have a full bathroom.
The lounge has various seating areas with fireplace, television, board games, etc. The dining room seats 12 people and it also has a fireplace and magnificent views of the estate.
The kitchen has a fridge and independent freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, electric cooker, etc.; it also has another dining area with fireplace and a table seating 8 people with incredible outside views, and which connects with a covered porch. On the side of the building there is a covered porch with sofas, a table for 10, loungers and other decorative objects. This porch communicates with another outside porch with garden views and a 12 metre illuminated swimming pool.
The La Jarilla Country House lies within a reserve with deer and wild boar, where hunting is available. You can also observe the game (deer, partridge, rabbit, turtle dove, etc.) in their natural habitat (during the deer rutting season for example) as well all kinds of fauna: griffon vultures, black vultures, different types of eagle, etc.
