Film routes
It's now very clear to us, it's not enough just to go to the cinema to see the film, now we want to play the lead roles in these magnificent stories. So the best thing we can do is to go to the places used for filming so many scenes for legendary and not so legendary films but which are real gems of film world.
The Film Routes through Andalusia will take you to these locations so you can play the lead role in your own story and relive scenes that were etched in your memory thanks to the cinema.
The Film Routes through Andalusia will take you to the locations for films totally or partially filmed in Andalusia. The routes for the film “Alatriste”, by Agustín Díaz Yanes shot in splendid natural and monumental settings in Cadiz, Tarifa, Conil, Seville, Santiponce, Úbeda and Baeza; the route for the film “Summer Rain”, by Antonio Banderas, filmed in Malaga and the route for “The Heart of the Earth” by Antonio Cuadri, filmed in the mining area of Riotinto and the beach of Mazagón in Huelva are just some examples.
And to bring us right up to date, this year we have opened the routes for the award-winning film the “Marshland” and the acclaimed international series “Game of Thrones”, both filmed in the province of Seville.
